Under the CCTV Tower, the Taipingyang Underwater World is a comprehensive modern center, mainly displaying the living marine resources and integrating popular science education, appreciation and entertainment. It is named as the "Popularization on Ocean Science Education Base of the China Society of Oceanography" by the China Society of Oceanography.
