Our next destination to the SALT VILLAGE about half an hour to 45mins from Nam Ngum River in Laos. The Salt manufactured by this village is being sold to villagers instead to the city or exported as they are coarse and the city dwellers still prefer exported ones. As they are cheaply sold, the village is thus poor, some of our group brought biscuits, sweets for the children of the Salt Village. It last a deep impression on me, seeing how labour intensive these salts are being processed without any technologies help but by primitive methods. I am awed......Wow.....

Salt Village......Hmmmm Salty but we prefer pure & finer grains of SALT......
