Located in Laishui County, Hebei Province, Yesanpo is more than 100 kilometers from Beijing and consists of the upper, middle and lower slopes. With an area of about 520 square kilometers, it is a natural scenic spot integrating mountains, rivers, forests, flowers, trees, grasses, birds, animals, gorges, springs and caves, featuring "wildness." Its northern part is mainly composed of mountains, with the Great Wall as a natural screen; and its southern part is occupied by valleys and plains, which are run through by the Junma River.
