Located in the west of Hebei Province, Laiyuan is the source of the Juma River. Surrounded by Taihang, Hengshan and Yanshan mountains, the Laiyuan Basin has a large number of scenic wonders. In hot summer, the average temperature of Laiyuan comes to 21.8 degrees, cool and comfortable, hence the name. It is an ideal summer resort.
Laiyuan boasts numerous scenic spots, such as Ten Waterfall Gorge, Immortal Valley, Midair Grassland and White Stone Mountain.
