Charoen Hotel & Shopping in Udon Thani, Northeast Thailand

The hotel that i stayed in CHAROEN HOTEL, a 4star standard hotel. The facilites are alright, with a small pool and ample parking lots. Rooms are clean but i see mosquitoes around though especially in the evenings. Take a stroll and you will see Robinson Shopping Mall, with a few levels of local shopping here, pretty like the standard malls which you see in asian countries. Around the bend, you will also chance upon local product shops selling many local titbits which you can buy back home. Down the lane, you will also see road stalls selling food, when i was there in December, it was pretty cold during the evenings and morning, i tried their hot noodle soup which is quite nice. After food, its shopping time, you get to see lots of fashionable clothes, accessories, from shoes to bags to watches to handmade jewelleries to jeans. Shop till you drop.......Hey remember to bargain, but over here, its okay to drop by 10 - 30bahts, as what i know is that the shop owners don't mark up alot, and so thumbs up for great buys and bargains.
