MACAU, a beating heart of its own...

Macau - be it myths, legends, gambling, having fun...

Myths, Legends...
A-ma Temple, dedicated as the seafarers goddess to protect fishermans whom are out in the sea reeling in their catches of the day. The Temple also shows stone sculptures of the forgotten past. Buy a souvenir or simply get some incense to pray to those goddess. A picture to show you of this place.

Ruins of St Paul Church, a beautiful archaeological structure but unfortunately destroyed by the fire from the kitchen. Down the alley is Macau Square, where you do a little bit of shopping here. Famous are its pastry and almond biscuit, freshly baked from the oven.

Best Gambling dens in Asia, i must say...

Many Casinos have sprang up like grass shoots. Been to this real nice and posh Casino, the inside decor must have cost a bomb to build. Be it a game of poker, dices or anything that your heart desires, you have it all here. Be a winner if you are standing on your lucky star unless you are able to withdraw yourself from the temptations of winning more which is human nature, pack up and end the night with this windfall.

Having Fun...

That is an understatement. I had loads of fun while i was at Macau, be it gambling or visiting Temples etc.. But i dare say that this has been the best highlight of my business trip in Macau - on the top of Macau Sky Tower. The tower measures 338 m (1,109 ft) in height from ground level to the highest point. An observation deck with panoramic views, restaurants, theaters, shopping malls and the Skywalk X, a thrilling walking tour around the outer rim. I had the chance of doing that walking tour around the rim and have enjoyed it tremendously, with its cold winds howling in and out around you. You will put on a orange skywalk x suit and you will hooked on with a rope with lots of safety precautions. Then you are being lead to the entrance to the Tower's rim. I felt like i'm on the top of the world, soaring like an eagle. The Skywalk X specialist whom leads this tour will also bring along a digital camera to take those fond and exciting memories for you. At the end of the walk, you'll be awarded the Skywalk X certificate that you've completed the walk. It also offers the best view of Macau and in recent years has been used for bungee jumping. At 233 meters, the Macau Tower's tethered "skyjump" from the tower's outer rim is the highest in the world. A famous HKG celebrity has tried this bungee jump too. Attached, please see my photos of the observatory Tower.
