Wat Hophakeo or Jade Buddha Temple in Laos

Just opposite of Wat Si Saket, this remarkable temple structure once houses the Jade Buddha statue but after a civil war with the Thais, it is now located in Bangkok, Thailand. This place has it that its only fit for the Royal Family, or the high rank officials are able to come and offer prayers here. Commoners are not allowed here and will have to offer their prayers at Wat Si Saket. Again, I must say, the building structures here are beautifully make and also worth your while to visit.
